Lane End Cottage

Lane End Cottage in Warkworth is a beautifully restored 19th century cottage, located next to the riverbank with river views from most of the windows. An abundance of wildlife can be seen from the luxurious cottage and from a seat on the riverbank next to the cottage. Seals at high tide, herons, foxes, swans and ducks, salmon leaping, terns and kingfishers can be seen.

Many of our guests take a bottle of wine and glasses or a cup of coffee and sit on the riverbank just outside the cottage on balmy summer evenings before strolling to one of Warkworth‘s lovely restaurants and pubs for a bite to eat.

Lane End Cottage in Warkworth is beautifully furnished and very well equipped, with a wood burning stove, superking bed and Nespresso coffee machine, as well as many more luxurious ‘home comforts’. A generous welcome hamper is provided with the owners’ compliments to welcome you and help you settle in. With something for everyone, it’s full of both essentials and treats mostly sourced from Northumbrian artisans to give you a flavour for our historic region. Fresh fowers and a small welcome basket for your dog are also provided.
