Awarded 4 stars by Visit England, this cosy cottage sleeps up to 4 in two bedrooms. Alnmill cottage is very close to the Northumberland coastline at Alnmouth, a mere 1 mile easy walk or drive. Its immediate setting is in the rural village of Lesbury, an incredibly pretty village steeped with history and containing a traditional village store and post office.

Lesbury is centrally placed within Northumberland. Being Alnmouth’s next door neighbour, access to the beach is easy, as well as the various cycle routes north to Alnwick or south to Warkworth, Amble and beyond. Alnmill Cottage has secure, indoor bike storage.

Alnmouth mainline station is a ten-minute walk away, with regular trains from King’s Cross in 3 hours 40 minutes and to Edinburgh in just over an hour. A car free holiday is very possible: a five minute walk to the bus stop for a frequent service to Alnwick, Warkworth and Amble and a service up the coast to Craster, Seahouses and Bamburgh.

Alnmill Cottage is dog friendly, allowing two small dogs or one large to stay. There is private, off-road parking for one car and additional parking on the roadside and there are several outdoor options to enjoy the sunshine. Free Wi-Fi as standard.
