Profile
Perfectly situated in a quiet yet central part of the lovely seaside village of Beadnell and near the beach, Mariner’s Cottage at Beadnell has the perfect coastal feel for the ideal holiday to Beadnell in Northumberland.
Mariner’s Cottage is a short and easy walk from Beadnell Bay beach, the only south-facing beach on the east coast of the UK. Beadnell Bay is hugely popular for watersports, from surfing to water-skiing. The beach is dog-friendly all year around too and you can finish off a sandy walk with some good pub grub in a choice of the two pubs in Beadnell, The Craster Arms and the recently renovated Beadnell Towers Hotel, then retire to your cosy cottage for a well-earned snooze in front of the fire!
This lovely family-sized cottage also has the added benefit of being suitable for guests who are less mobile, as the ground floor bedroom suite with en-suite wet room has been designed with wheelchair users in mind, there’s even a hoist for hire, if required.
Mariner’s Cottage sleeps six guests in three bedrooms, has private parking, an enclosed outdoor patio and welcomes two well-behaved dogs. Reaching the nearby villages of Seahouses, Bamburgh, Embleton, Craster and Alnwick is very easy from Beadnell.
