Profile
Jeanie’s is a beautiful, stylish new-build cottage for up to 3 guests. In a peaceful spot just a few miles from Northumberland’s sandy beaches, fantastic restaurants and boutique shops at Warkworth and Amble.
With two bedrooms, one bathroom, sociable open-plan lounge and dining kitchen, Jeanie’s is the perfect retreat for a couple or small family. The cottage benefits from a lovely, south-facing sun-trap garden with outdoor seating on the patio area and welcomes one small-medium size dog.
Acklington Village is very pretty and peaceful. There’s a great little pub and restaurant, called The Railway Inn just a few minutes’ walk from the cottage door and the award-winning Morwick Ice Cream Parlour is a mile or so along pretty, winding country roads. The medieval village of Warkworth with its impressive castle ruin towering over the main street, can be reached within 5 minutes’ by car. Or head east to the fishing town of Amble with it’s hustling harbour and award winning seafood restaurants – a great spot to watch the sunset.
Free Wi-Fi provided throughout as standard.
Looking to book two small cottages together? Ivy’s is Jeanie’s sister-property, situated right next door and furnished to the same gorgeous standard.
