Profile
Hunstanton Camping and Glamping with mYminiBreak welcomes dogs with open arms, and with so many dog friendly beaches, pubs, cafes, and more nearby, Hunstanton is the perfect place to take your tail-wagging pal. Heacham South Beach, which welcomes dogs and features miles of sandy shoreline, is just a two minute walk from our glamping and camping area. We were careful to keep this working dairy farm’s original rustic charm when we turned it into a camping and glamping site. Because of our beautiful, remote location on the Norfolk Coast, which is out of sight and away from the main roads, we feel like we’re a world away from the bustle of the surrounding area.
Our rural accommodation near the seaside resort and promenade of Hunstanton is one of our best features. It’s close to the dog-friendly beach and the beautiful Norfolk Coast Path, and it’s also close to many great walking paths and a wide range of businesses that are dog-friendly. The nearby beach is best at low tide thanks to the miles of open sand that your furry friend can sprint and play fetch across.
Hunstanton Camping & Glamping with mYminiBreak
Our campground is the ideal place to get away from it all, with its picturesque vistas of the nearby marshes, countryside, and sandy beaches, as well as its closeness to hiking trails that you can take a dog for a stroll (or a run!) down. Our campsite can accommodate a large motorhome or a single backpacker’s tent. We have everything you need for a relaxing beach holiday with your pets, without compromising on sustainability, and we welcome campers and motorhomes. There are rubbish bins, recycling bins, a composting toilet, a sink, running water, and a waste disposal system. We use only eco-friendly products and encourage you to do the same on the Norfolk Coast, and we provide recycling bins for you to properly sort your trash.
Hunstanton Glamping
If you want a more luxurious camping experience, try one of our Glamping Shepherd Tents or Glamping Bell Tents. Hunstanton glamping sites are dog-friendly in the same way that our standard campsites are. Bell tents offer a bohemian, rustic atmosphere and a place to pitch a campfire, while our shepherd’s huts feature plush beds, bistro tables for breakfast, and other charming amenities. These cottages are perfect for a romantic getaway, thanks to their doorstep marsh views, outdoor fire pit and barbecue, and proximity to a westward-facing beach (a 2-minute walk away).
Hunstanton Glamping Canvas Bell Tents – Our Hunstanton Glamping Bell Tents come with everything you need for a night under the stars, including deck chairs, a fire pit on a tripod, outdoor banners, and string lights, so you can enjoy a night under the stars in style with zero setup time. The double bed is ready and waiting for you, along with a picnic basket, cosy blankets, and other stylish touches and textiles.
Hunstanton Glamping Shepherds Hut – Our shepherds’ huts are as cosy as glamorous camping can get. You have your own little secluded spot at our campsite, complete with a fire pit, deck chairs, and the best view in the whole place for stargazing at night. The cabin’s interior features stylish country accents, and its double bed is furnished with soft, plush linens and blankets to match. Enjoy the great outdoors without giving up any of your creature comforts by staying in one of our Hunstanton Glamping Shepherds Huts on the stunning north Norfolk Coast.
Hunstanton Blank Canvas Bell Tent – Do you long for a camping trip but dread pitching a tent, or have you discovered that the one you have is simply not adequate? One of our Hunstanton blank canvas bell tents could be just what you need! Our Hunstanton Glamping tents are pre-erected and protected from the elements, so all you have to do is bring yourself and your necessities for a restful seaside stay.
The property’s scenic views of the surrounding marshes and night sky make it an ideal spot for a family reunion or friendly get-together centred around a campfire or barbecue. There is a brazier in each of our glamping tents, so you can have a campfire whenever you like. Gathering around a fire with loved ones to share tales, cook marshmallows, and catch up is a great way to take in the peaceful surroundings.
Thanks to our return to classic camping amenities and our care for the local environment, you can relax and enjoy your time in the great outdoors in peace and satisfaction. It’s a great place to get outside and appreciate nature, and our campground has lots of lovely walking paths through the picturesque Norfolk landscape. Or, further afield, you can walk along coastal hikes on beautiful beaches like the striped cliffs of Old Hunstanton, the Holme Dunes National Nature Reserve, or the shingle of Wells-next-the-Sea. As the sun goes down, bats flying overhead are always a welcome sight at our campsite. And when nightfall finally arrives, the sight of the stars is nothing short of spectacular. Because of the lack of city lights, the stars can be seen here in all their splendour.
In addition to the many dog-friendly pubs, restaurants, and shops along the Norfolk Coast, there are also many establishments that provide water bowls for your four-legged friend. Most of our beaches are dog-friendly all year round, but during the period beginning on Easter and ending on Halloween, certain beaches are off-limits to canines. We’ve included a list of some nearby beaches and their specific dog restrictions below.
Heacham – South and North Beach, no restrictions – Snettisham, no restrictions – Hunstanton main beach, summer restrictions – Old Hunstanton Beach, no restrictions – Holme-next-the-sea, no restrictions – Thornham, no restrictions – Brancaster Beach, no restrictions.
Hunstanton attracts visitors from all walks of life thanks to its water sports, cultural events, and fantastic locally-owned shops and restaurants, as well as the nearby west Norfolk walks and historical sites, such as Sandringham.
Camping sites start at £15 per night, and Glamping sites start at £95 per night.

We took advantage of the sunny days we have been having to spend a few days at the beach in our new Motorhome, we choose this campsite for its great location. The beach is a short walk from the site and is dog friendly with lots of dogs all running around together. The shallow water is great for dogs with little legs! The campsite is small and clean, the views out over the meadows were amazing for bird spotting. Locally Hunstanton is nice to spend a few hours, lots going on there. The hosts are great, very friendly, we are so pleased we booked a few days away here and look forward to coming back again soon!
A great campsite right by the coast path and just a 2-minute walk to the beach, ideal location for hikers of the coast path and beyond. The facilities onsite are basic but kept very clean and tidy, hot showers and fresh drinking water, that was all I needed!
The site is fire and dog friendly, Nigel lent me one of the spare pits and I purchased some wood, that was a nice surprise, and a welcome one as it was absolutely freezing last night! I was treated to an amazing sunset over the sea and sunrise though so that more than made up for it. Lovely campsite, can see this place getting busy in the summer due to the epic location, the Norfolk Coast is beautiful and I would highly recommend Hunstanton Camping & Glamping
